Default 88 s10 406sbc with 871, need help with tire size

hello everyone, have a tubbed ladder bar s10 standard cab short bed. drive train is 406 sbc with 871, turbo 350, with a narrowed 9 inch, either a 456 or 514 gear. trying to figure out with tire to run, 32x14, or 29x13. will the big tire hurt my 60 foot? small tire hurt traction and top end? alot of people run big tires, and alot run small tire any help would be great.
