Default First Test-N-Tune with new 427 SBC Stroker

The new Dart block 427 SBC stroker is running and I took it to the track last weekend. First time out with some easy passes and on a slick track it went 9.30s @ 144.8! So, I believe it has 8.90s potential once I get everything sorted out and get on a good track in a few weeks.

Here are the engine components; Dart Pro-1 230 heads, Stahl 1-7/8" to 2" step-tube headers, Comp custom roller, Jesel shaft rockers, JE 14.4-1 pistons, CompStar 6" rods and Dragonslayer 4" crank. Also, Demon 820 and all N/A (no juice).

Here are some video links from last weekend. Turn-up the speakers and let me know what you think!!!

Thanks for the nice comments and your ride is totally bad-to-the-bone!!! I love the 1993-02 Camaro body style, check out my race space.

The 9.30 was foot-braking and flashing the converter off 2000 RPM. I've got the full electronics package with trans-brake, but I've been running in No-E for the past few years and plan to stay in No-E this season. Possibly have the fastest No-E car around here.

You guys at CNC did a really great job on my new stroker short-block assembly, also on the custom cam selection!!!

I'm really excited with how well it's running and can't wait to run it all-out on a good track.

Thanks again for building me a really great short-block assembly.

Beautiful car Warren. I hope to someday get to meet you. That track scares the crap out of me when it is cold. Maybe someday you can come a little further north and east. Have fun and be safe.

Curtis,

Good to hear from you! I'm also looking forward to meeting you, hopefully we'll run into each other this summer. I might come up to Tulsa for a bracket race, it's been about four years since I've been there.

The track at TVRP is really scarey now, I got a little loose last Sunday just before the 1000 ft at 140 MPH+. I let off and it straightened-up, however my butt was really puckered-up!!! I was in the center of the lane, but there isn't a groove established just yet. I'm going back to the track this Sunday for another TnT, if it doesn't rain.
