Well went to University of Michigan hospital on tuesday for a checkup. The tumor is growing faster than they expected. I go in next week to see a Radiation Surgeon and will probably setup up treatment for Nov. or Dec.
Sounds like my next option and best chance to be rid of it.
Beast: Thanks for the update. Faith says that there is evidence things seen; but the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for. Together, we pray for what is hoped for... complete recovery 100%... by the blood of Jesus... AMEN. Keep us posted on this process please. Keep looking up. Scoot
Why are they waiting so long to begin treatment ? I know early detection is good, but it seems they're dragging their feet on treatment schedule.
This was my choice to wait. They were OK with that since this is a noncancerous tumor. I've had surgery before to remove 95% of it. They couldn't do radiation then since it was so close to my optic nerve for fear of hampering my vision or causing blindness. Now it's far enough away they can zap it with some kind of lazer form of radiation. Just a real strong dose and a one time deal.
