I ditto Tod,too.No sense in starting a motor until AFTER you set the valves

With all the issues he's been having, I wonder if he's in fact getting hyd. lifters. Solid, or Rhodes type maybe? :?:

there lunati hyd. and you have to set big blocks on 0 valve lash.and my rocker arms and nuts were bad.

Lively , I only take american dollars, not ching ,ying pacos, oops-- better stop, starting to sound like Bob Frey. Of course it don't take to much to get a redneck going!!!

I need some of the 3" hydraulic for a BBC. Going to send them to bbc28racing, to help him fix his. :lol: :wink:

:roll: Dude, Hyd lifters do not not set at zero lash. Doesn't matter if your nuts and rockers were bad or not.
