Charles,

That is a real deal Blackhawk helicopter. My son is a Blackhawk pilot in the Army. We went to the post at Fort Campbell, Ky. where he is stationed a few weeks back and I got to climb all over and sit in his helicopter. I also got to look over an Apache. I'll start another thread and post up the pics in the show off section.

Curtis

I'm thinking 3,000 is pretty close. I have nearly an identical vehicle, 1998 Sonoma, but shortbed stepside ProSteet with ladder bars, which the 4 bolt 406" pumpgas i have is going into, with PG and 4.56 gears. I'm thinking it will run in the 6's and still be streetable. I think mine will be about 2800 lbs.

Zip.

Zip that does look like a nice project. Might be tough to tune a good comfortable ride into those shocks though.

  I got a set of QA1's i just didn't have them at the time i backhalfed it. I also put a Mustang power steering rack and pinion and swing out door bars. It's taking longer than i planned to finish it but hope to have it on the street by summer 2010. i still have to figure out how the regulate the pressure to the power steering rack.

Zip.
