Ya caught me! I'll still be there. Heck,Maybe I'll square off with my Pimpala  Yeah right. That car runs like molasses in the winter.

Hmm,maybe I oughta keep it one more season. you know the rumor:
Moments
Of
Power
Are
Rare!

In all honesty, the fastest car I've ever ridden in was Gimmethakick Satellite with an Indy stroker in it. Man,I wish I could have afforded to but that when he turned it loose!

Zip and Vega, you're right. As much as I hate to admit it,cuz I love the old school, these new LS motors are just awesome. Technology is not all bad!

That is fine looking project Zip!!

Olds: should you decide to get out for a while, you will still have fun doing a street car... all will not be lost. My guess is that you will miss the strip though.

Olds you ought to read this when you have some time. Don't even think about reading it all. Just skip around and you'll get the idea.
I'll sum it up for you. This guy drove his 8 second turbo Mustang 1,800miles from NM to Fl. TO RACE IT. It was one hell of a cool story to follow.
Going a different route can be fun. I get bored pretty easy and I was getting really bored last year, but made some changes and it really got me fired up and ready to race.
(of course every time I get "fired up "about anything it cost me a chitt pile of $ , BUT I AINT BORED NO MORE  lol ).

Besides these cars he owns the 1966 Biscyne, and in the garage is a 1934 ford coupe worth between $40,000.00/$50,000.00. No he's not rich, in fact he works for the state and makes less than $20.00 per hr. but when he does something he does it right.

No DD, it's our of a Firebird, it's got about a $1,000.00 bolt on accessaries on the engine. he paid $2500.00 for the engine, trans, and all the electronics on that engine. The other engine he just got cost $2,000.00 with trans, and all electronics. (believe it or not it came out of a State Trooper Camero)

I know what you mean Rabbit. The sole reason I bought my Impala was because I missed having the Olds on the road. I wanted another hotrod. But a muscle car is not a hotrod if you know what I mean. The Impala makes for a great daily driver so she's a keeper either way.I dont want to give up racing,I love it too much. I still want to race the Olds. I'm just shooting for a true street/strip car this time. Turbos seem to be the only real option
