Default Titanium Rods

I need some input on Titanium Rods,,,,pros and cons, other than the price.lol.are they reliable, and worth the extra cash,,,,does the weight savings really make the difference, any feedback would be great..I want to build a tall deck 540 bbc..car is alredy setup for a tall deck, and dont want to change it.. :?

What's the reason you want go with titanium?

I read they are 35% lighter than a steel rod, and that seems like a great difference, so I was wondering if you get the strength of steel and the weight of aluminum, but do they have the endurance of say, a steel rod as well, and are there any HP advantages ?

Not sure what they cost, but this was taken right off GRP's web site.
" Due to the rising cost of titanium, we no longer use this material for manufacturing our rods."

That kinda summed it up for me. I'm sure some of the other guys can give you more detail about 'em vs alu. rods later on when they wake up.
