Dyno results with High stall converter, need advice
Question for the experts , how does a high stall convereter affect rw dyno numbers?
Why the big flash between shifts? is that accurate?
Should I disregard total numbers & just concentrate on the improvements made by the mods?
I have lots of hours in road racing injected cars, but yesterday i did my first Drag car with an automatic & 29 in slicks.
we came away with an almost 90 hp gain so I was very happy , but perplexed by the numbers@ begining on a car I saw run very well.
BTW it also probably saved the car as it developed a huge fuel leak probably from a seal or seat drying out , that actually started a fire. Thankfully the crew had its stuff together & saved what would have been a diaster in my shop or at the track. Money well spent & hats off to the guys at the dyno shop.
Thanks again
