Good luck. I needed the same thing for my sbc. I wanted to use the stock alternator but noone made the bracketry for a stock alternator to relocate. I ended up making my own. I regret not duplicating it and putting it on patten. Could do it again, but it took and incredible amount of time to get it right so not to throw the belt.

I should of put on my previous post that I had just bought the alternator kit for my BBC and if I remember correctly it was 160 bucks. I did have the alternator and crank pulley in a V groove style and it wasn't too bad.

Shogun industries makes a real nice mini alternator kit that is just driven off little pulley on the harmonic balancer. It will bolt up to just about anything wether you have a electric pump, motor plate or what have you.
