Default Fuel Jug Rack

Hey guys
I am getting ready to put a fresh coat on the trailer and I am thinking I want to put the fuel jugs on the tire fenders instead of on the floor in the pitpal racks. Any of you guys got some pictures or ideas on what to use to do this ?

thank you

Hammertime,

I would be real careful about that. A few years ago, a racer from Florida had his wheel bearing/tire catch on fire and he had his fuel jugs on the fenders. From what I understand, he lost car and trailer.

Just something to think about.

This is true, it happened to a team I used to be on with a triple axle trailer and we didn't even know we had blown a tire until Johnny Gray pulled up along side and told us. The shredding tire litterly burned the tire well on the inside of the trailer, and the carpeting inside was smoking, so I think you need to reconsider your idea. Just my two cents.

thanks I have about $10.00 into the deal much cheaper then the $200.00 in fuel jug racks from someone else. I got alum from a buddies scrap for free, had to buy the bars across and pins on the ends.

Dont mind the tape I painted this weekend
