Octane ? how high or low

well this is also gonna be hard to believe. when I got there Istill had 114 gas in the car so I made my first two passes on thatwith the brake @ 4000 rpm and it worked good I ran a 6.20 and a 6.22 then It started sticking again so I went and put the 112 gas in and foot braked all my best times. I think the return spring is week I'm gonna replace it now and TRY Again.
