Default Damper ?'s

Are all the BBC damper's the same? In other words--will 396 fit 427 fit 402 fit 454. I realize the internal /external nature but is there any other fitment issues? What are the risk of buying used?

Yes, a BBC is a BBC is a BBC.

The only difference is internal versus external.

Your risk in buying used is the condition of the rubber separating the steel donut from the hub.

Fortunately, some brands like ATI are rebuildable.

I have an ATI for sale, btw, lol. It does not need rebuilding.

I like the FLUIDAMPR. I have used both Fluidampr and the ATI. both are quality product.
