Default Video from RC copter of my last race

Some overhead of my last race of 2012..You may not like the music so turn it down or mute. No engine sounds....At 2:05 is when you'll see me go by.

American capitalism at work ! New startup by a couple of 20 somethings.
This was only their 2nd car event and are still working out the kinks. Hopefully next time they'll follow each car through more of the course. Still GREAT shots !

2.3 miles at 5% grade, a private road that is only rented to car racers (uphill) and long boarders (down hill), so it doesn't get beat up with public traffic. In fact it was completely rebuilt in '98-'99. Smooth and fast ! I've way more car than tires so this winter I'll be saving my nickles and dimes for racin' rubber. Am also adding more down force wings and things. I really want to break the 2 minute barrier on this hill with this car !

Yep new rubber allways helps for sure and you don't want to end up like the one guy having your car pulled up on the side of the hill. There also has to be a little fear factor to having no rails on the side of the road.

No fear, just very aware. You focus entirely on the pavement and zero time on anything outside 'the lines'. That's why we build 'em SAFE and why safety is at the utmost top of the list at all times.
The car that took the off-road excursion was a full tilt boogie race car. VW Rabbit and very well done and fast. He lost adhesion on all 4, went over the edge backwards, stayed in contact with the ground while still spinning, and ended up facing downhill and upright lodge on top of a scrub brush. Went right between two large boulders and had ZERO damage.   He checked it out, cleaned out some rocks and dirt and finished the weekend !
