327 with aluminum heads
wondering what a 327 with flat top pistons an 57cc aluminum head with 194 valves heads are 86 corvette heads L98 what the compression ratio would be an what would be a good head gasket to use thanks rw

Just looking at the numbers, I think you are both a litttle off. Looks to be more like 10 to 10.5-1. Here is another calculator. To be accurate you have to know the CC's of the reliefs and the Deck height. .040" is a good assumption for the gasket you should be using (standard permatorque).

With that set you can have piece of mind that youl never have to deal with a blown head gasket.
CR with above gasket is 13.31:1 with one calculator and 11:1 with the other now when I check both calculators to a factory 8.5:1 motor the calculator I posted is wrong and should be hacked off the internet.
According to the wheelspin.net calc you would be @ 11:1 with the above gasket set.
