hehe, kinda funny, i just saw it today and wondered how, (masterbuiler) got under my name, knowing that i can't compete with some of the people here who make a living at building engines. I only build 4 to 5 engines a year, but the rod bolts don't fall out and everyone is competative. Kinda funny BJ and i have been PMing one another for the last 2 days. We went out last weekend with a new set-up, 4 link from a ladder bar car that weighs 2830 minus driver, it was also changed to a 31X10.5 Micky tire. The whole show was a comedy of errors, it ran 6.14@115mph out of the box and shook so hard about 10 ft out my teeth almost came out (did you kow old mens teeth come out in 2 pcs. uppers and lowers) O'h it is a S/BLK and i'm 198 lbs. It burned/pushed thru 3.5 gal. of alcohol in 1/8 mile should have been 1.5 gal. 60ft times 1.39. I was sicker than a dog(fumes) when i got back to the pits. I had dialed a 6.09 and had a 5.30 light, got beat. So Jeff says i'll drive it, reset the barrel valve, dropped the tire pressure to 7.00lbs. It stopped the shake and had a 1.29 60ft time but ran totally out of fuel at 500ft, ran a 6.17@105mph. I was not happy, Jeff came back and puked his guts out from fumes. More comedy, the converter flashed at 6500rpm, we somehow put the dragster converter in the car when it should have been 5200rpm. Sunday we found out that the return line was collasping/comming apart and closing off to the bypass pill. If that wasn't enough, when we started to unload the car the rear brakes was locked up, had to use a 4 wheeler to move the car, the tires slide 3 ft. before they released, the rezudial valve was sticking. Beyond that we had trouble with the new digital brake controller before we went to the track, spent 1 hr chasing wires and nothing was wrong except it kept reading E1 (no connect), but the brakes worked, not getting one time run in (we dialed 6.09) on the Dodge and 5.11 on the Dragster, bought back in for the second round on the Dodge and lost it too.

So Tom when i get 23 post in change me to Comedian Racer, but i can still make them run if they are small blocks. Next time out i guarentee 5's with a $7,000.00 S/BLK at 3,000lbs, and the Dragster ran a 5.14,(dialed 5.11) first and only pass, lost that race too,
also S/BLK.
BJ says we were successful for a shakedown trip, i wasn't happy, had about 4 coors lights on the trip home (60miles) (i wasn't driving). Next week will be different i guarentee it.

Zip.
