Default 1 piece front end

Has anyone here ever tried to use a one piece front end and still keep the chrome bumper? After a minor mishap @ half track I need a new front end and would like to swap to a lift off front end but I can't bring myself to get rid of the chrome bumper. Any info or pics would be great.

Thanks!!
JB

Why not just take a fiberglass bumper (fit it) and then have the glass bumper chromed.

I've heard of that but never seen it , how does it look? I would like to use a VFN front end, and for my car( 55 chevy) the bumper is molded in. I talked to VFN and they told me that I could cut it off to use a chrome one or paint it.

Thanks.

I saw it on the Speed channel and they did some bike parts. On TV it looked pretty good.
