Because someone sold you the wrong thing and you apparently make no effort to identify it, you basically call me a liar. Don't like that. IF you would look on Barry Grant's website you can see each model, IF you look at the dealers ads you can see the the difference, same with Jegs. Because someone else does the same as you doesn't make it so, On top of it being in a bag with part number and a box that says SPEED DEMON. Detectives call this a clue. I am out time and money because you don't know what you have, but some guy told it was this. I assumed you knew the difference. Your carb left your place 5 days after I gave you a #. I will ship your carb back. I already have this exact model.

Really don't want this to drag on for weeks. I turned down 3 other offers after I made a deal with you. Like I said before, the box has the part # and states "speed demon" on it. Let me know. thanx, JR

Default Idiot

Please read the post. Guy is an idiot. I don't want his carb and have made it clear. I DO want him to pay for the return shipping because it is his fault he mislead/lied/didn't know/can't read or take your pick. He offered to swap his 750 mighty demon for my 850 mighty demon, I shipped him mine, 5 days later he shipped his. He sent me a speed demon, In the original speed demon bag, part # on bag, in a speed demon box and says "I thought it was a mighty demon" $25 to ship his carb back for his screw up, he can pay it!

I see a couple things that may have been simple miscommunications base on wording:

The message before this, jrlj asks what next? You had already made the move to ship his back which is the right thing. However, you never told him that is what you are doing and then said he hadn't done the right thing yet!!!. Sounds to me like you were blastung him. You never told him what you were doing before laying out that statement.

I think jrlj made every honest effort to get it resolved. You appear to be impatient in your messages. You come across short with your answers. That is another thing that can create miscommunications

All in all, you have him here as a scammer. I just don't see it. You advertiesed and traded something incorrectly. You did not take the time to ID your part even with all the information you had. I too would want money back for the shipping as it is 100% your error on the part. You both have done the right thing and communicated, but somewhere it was lost. If he is holding the carb for shipping cost, again, I understand. He is not scamming you or not taking you, he simply wants you to correct the mistake completly.

Is that not saying he scammed you???? Maybe a better choice of words could have been used? This is the point of miscommunication. Make sure that you say what you mean. Say it clearly so there is no way to confuse or mislead your point.

I sent him a message to see if he will come back here to accept the offer of COD. He would only be out the time it cost to drop it off. If he does not accept the COD, then he is, IMHO, being unreasonable about resolving the problem and moving on.
