I went with JE because I thought the price was pretty good. Like I said they are "nitrous pistons" and I paid $1030 for the pistons & rings and that included shipping. I don't now what the Probes cost so I can't say anything their prices.

Best to go the extra bucks and buy blower or nitrous pistons, the top ring groove is down 7/16" from the top of the pistons on them.

pistons
building a 871 blown 509 chevy on gas,going to run 12 to 15 psi boost.have a set of new flat top srp pistons,says in catalog ok for blower use,was going to use them but now i am not sure.what do you think.it will be in 1/4 mile drag car on race gas 2500lbs.
