Got my new cam today from LSM. My old cam was a lunati grind. Specs were IN lift:.810 Ex lift.778 In dur. @ .050 -290 Ex dur@ .050-304
with a 114 lobe separation.
The new cam from LSM is IN lift- .877 EX lift . 854 IN dur @ .050- 288 EX dur. @ .050- 306 with a 115 lobe separation.
When I asked about the cam being so close to the other they told me that they opened up the exhaust duration and lobe separation because of the alcohol fuel and head combination I had. This is a 622 bbc with 14 degree heads on alcohol.
Just thought I would share that.

I just received my cam kit today and we upgraded to the 904 lifters. I can't wait to get this thing going but now I have to send the heads off to get a full port job. I'm not looking forward to spending the money on them but it will be worth it because I'm sending them to RFD. I figured you get what you pay for so do it right the first time.
