I've only seen a few but I'll give you my take on them. They are dull and look nothing like paint. The one guy I talked to said he wouldnt do it again because like most stuff it was coming off to easy. IMO I'd paint a car all 1 color before I put a wrap on it, just looks to dull for me.

I had an old subaru a couple years ago that had a camo vinyl wrap done to it... it was used more to keep the bondo and rust togeather then anything but it held up great for the year or so that I owned it, the car was used as a daily driver and off road beater. went through some VERY thick brush with it and it never scratched or peeled off at all.
here are a couple pics after it was on the car for about 3 years and a year of me daily driving it and beating on it off road.
in this pic, you can see some rust in the rear quarter panel on top of the tire. this was about a 3/4" strip that was NOT covered with the camo vinyl and was sprayed with ryno-liner truck bed liner.
I was very impressed with its performace at least off-road, that car didnt have the guts to get above 65 though. not sure what effect it would have at 150+mph.
