Default 727 race transmission

My 727 is pushing fluid out the vent. It is not overfull does not have a transbrake. We moved the vent from the bell housing to the tail housing still pushes fluid out the vent but not as bad. It is new rebuilt works perfect except for pushing fluid out. Any ideas?

Might be a sign to pull that tranny. I know Mopar guys love the 727's but man, these transmissions are not pretty when they let go.

It has been my experience that if a 727 pukes fluid and it is not overfull, it is a busted converter...

If the converter is not being fully charged, it will cavitate and puke aired fluid from the vent. Pressure checks can point to problem. As indcontols says, it could be the converter itself as well.
