Default ?

Other than the Nozzles being on the LARGE Size it looks good!
Which is the NICE thing about a RONS set-up,BASIC!!!
I would lean more in the #36 Nozzle jet.
Hope that HELPS!!!!

X2 the .090 return pill would be real close with a -1/2 pump. if you have a -1 pump around .115 pill.

Zip.

SORRY, I FORGOT TO MENTION, IT DOES HAVE A 1/2 PUMP. DO I JUST CALL RON'S TO GET JETS? AND DO I NEED TO GET A FEW DIFFERENT RETURN PILL SIZES JUST FOR FINE TUNING?
I NORMALLY RUN 38-40 DEGREES OF TIMING ON A ENGINE LIKE THIS ONE, WHAT SHOULD I RUN ON ALKY WITH THIS SET UP??

Nozzle is big IMO also id rather see a 37 in there. With that head on there, I think you'll find it likes timing around 39-40 degrees.

Any idea where the barrel valve is set at ?

Default Rons

I think I would rather talk to James Monroe than Rons.

(Killer Rons) James Monroe, Bloomington, Indiana. Just Google him.

I was at his place last week with a friend who bought a dual toilet set up from him and he was very helpful on set up and tuning info. He has a good parts inventory too.

Just my opinion of course. And I didn't menntion I have Rons parts for sale on this site, did I?

I would get a few return pills, .080 to .100 maybe in .005 increments, i set the barrel valve between 22 and 28 percent leakdown, depending the throttle response. Nozzle size is a toss up Ex: we're running 39's on a 514" ford with a -1 pump, i run 33's with a -1/2 pump, i built a 383 and he had 31's with a -1/2 pump, then i have a freind with 427 sm/blk that runs 36's with a "0" pump, i ask him why so big, he said because it works, i couldn't argue with that since he run consistent low 5.60's at 123 mph in a 55 shoebox weighing 2650 lbs.
I usually deal with Ron's because i knew him when he started in the 1980's when i lived in phx. Not to say i have anything against James Monroe, i just don't know him and i know he's hard to get touch with during the racing season.
