Default BROKEN GLIDE

Today I left the line, car shifted into high then acted like it went into neutral and motor hit the hi side chip.I went to pull out of the groove and then the car started to lock the rear tires, then just coasted.I have no low, high or reverse, just park.Did it break the planetary?Stock 1.76 with a couple thousand runs, but trans just rebuilt 170 runs ago.Any idea on what broke?

If the planetaries broke you wouldn't have Park either...
At least that is what mine did when they broke.

You may have broken the front pump. It's easy to check, just pull it out and check the gears. I broke one and it felt like you put it in neutral. Relatively easy fix.

Pulled trans today and the input is broke and half is stuck in trans. My trans guy thinks the planetary broke, locked up and then broke the input.I'm installing spare tommorrow and will know about trans when Mike tears it down.

I serious doubt the planetary broke causing the input to break. The input shaft just could not handle your weight and power.

I busted an input shaft doing a burnout. Shit happens. Get a bigger shaft.
