There is not time to be ignorant, or to wait by the sidelines in silence. It is time to fight for what has made this country so great... freedom!! I will not support this administration & thier socialist agenda. I will not hold back, nor to I have to respect thier views... IF I PAY ONE DIME OF SOCIAL SECURITY TO AN ILLEGAL, then I know this country will be at the lowest low. We are already told BY THIS ADMINISTRATION that our taxes will now go to post-term abortion!! Well NO offense but I take offense to ANYONE who thinks that MY OPINION or any other American's is some how inferior to THEIR opinion just because THEY don't agree with it.

I take offense to a President that does the things Bush has done the last 8 years.I support our troops %100 but I think they are there for the wrong reasons and that's all I will say on that because I do not want to be disrespectful to them or their families, they are heros.

I voted for John McCain and I hate most of Obamas plans but some of you guys act like the current situation is his fault...this mess started years ago...All I ever heard the last few years was how unpatriotic it was to be against Bush in a time of War and it was impossible to support the troops and not Support the commander in Chief...well the shoe is on the other foot now and the people who were so Patriotic the last 8 years are now crying like children because they don't agree with the choice the country made..and they should thank The Bush Administration for that...In my opinion people elected Obama because they didn't want another Bush, and that's what they feared they would get with McCain.
Like him or not he is our new leader and he should be given a chance to do his job.

Sorry fellas I don't mean to be disrespectfull but it we're all in this shit together and constantly bitch'n and moaning about a President that just took office and hasn't had a chance to prove, or disprove himself , is going to solve anything.

I don't recall seeing ANYone on this forum defending Bush except for his absolute love and respect for our military and the SAFETY of these United States. He sucked BIGTIME in just about every other area.
The current..... 'president' will NEVER have my respect in any way, shape or form because of his POLICIES. I Am REVERENT of the OFFICE of the presidency but NOT THIS individual sitting in there, just as when Clinton was in there.
YOUR president BarryO and his cohorts are literally killing the capitalist system of business and commerce, just for their goal of absolute POWER.

ALL OF IT CONCERNS ME!! I didn't vote for Obama!! I am sick of paying for freeloaders. I am single with no children so I already get the shit taxed out of me I can't wait to see what it will be now!! I make a little over 50k a year and paid in 14k taxes last year...2006 I made 56k and paid in over 15...both years I got back about 1500 at tax time. Meanwhile my coworker paid in 8 k and gets back 6k of it!! he has kids and a wife that doesn't work.And a new house etc etc. Not my problem he chose that not me why should I have to pay so much more because I choose not to have children? I know he needs money to feed them so don't crucify me on that I'm just saying.....nevermind.

My only point was some people are hypocrites and are doing what they critisized the tree huggers for while Bush was in office.

Who said anything about your freedom of speech? YOU said you took offense to ANYONE calling the current leadership leaders...because YOU don't believe in their policies... You have free speech say whatever you want...it is your right. The guy who referred to Obama as a leader has the exact same right....but you find his opinion offensive therefore he shouldn't post it.... My point was What gives you or anyone else the right to express their opinion but not him? It is sorta comical to me that you would refer to Obama as "MY" president like I am on here giving him praise or something...I didn't vote for that idiot and I have made that very clear more than once. I happen to agree with you about Obama's Policies...that wasn't the issue.The issue was you acting as if YOUR OPINION was the only one that matters. If I misunderstood you on this then I apologize.


On the topic of members defending Bush... I admit you are right...I don't suppose anyone on here did act as if Bush was such a great President...I should have said they were defending their conservative/republican beliefs in general rather than say they were defending GWBush

I gota go back in to work tonight to earn more taxes.....there is an unemployed lady accross the street who needs the money.She is almost out of cigaretts because none of the fathers of her children paid any support this week and her boyfriend won't let her have any of the money they got from selling her food stamps.....apparently Spreading the wealth around only applies if you actually EARN the money..

I personally welcome differing opinions and civil discourse based on FACTS and LOGIC, not FICTION and EMOTIONS.

The facts are, our Govt has been spiraling down at a rapidly increasing rate ever since Reagan's last day in office. The current 'leader' of the 'free' world is pushing HARD for a Socialist system in OUR country. He is fomenting class warfare in 'hopes' of being 'forced' to order martial law(POWER over the PEOPLE not BY the PEOPLE).

Lets settle down... I am guilty of the "politics & religion" debates here too. The only thing I have defended here is that the CURRENT ADMINISTRATION has plans I do not approve of, like, that are damaging to you & I. I mention nothing about Bush, or the past administrations... just what is happening now BECAUSE OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. Tod is right, we are in this together. I say "pick a side" & stand on it... never more important than now. I did not appreciate being told that I was a sore-ass over the last election or that I am slandering our so called "leaders" & that I should be a "team player" for the current administrations blunders so far in the first 2 short months. Tod, I respect you... especially when you speak up on your own. I want no hard feelings for any of us because I think we are in the same boat. Scoot
