Default engine to trany spacer

anyone know where to get a 5/8 inch spacer for chevy? what Im wanting to do is to run a 300mm 4l60e converter in a 700r4 ( md8 ) behind a ls engine. I have a trany ready with a long stator and the converter is hanging out to far. I have it spaced out using some 5/8 in. nuts and the pull up distance is perfect. my plan was to fab. a spacer from some 5/8 cold roll flat stoc. been looking around for a time saver , any ideas would be nice? thanks

Hughes performance makes a 1" spacer for their new lock up pro mod power glide. It is made out of aluminum and they make it in house. I am sure they can cut you one that is 5/8 if you call them....
