need help

Default need help

does anybody know where the best place is to get an aluminum driveshaft for a 78 chevy camaro my stock piece didnt make it from what is left of it measures 45 1/2 inches long i could be wrong on that it is in 2 chunks any help would be cool the tube size is 2 and 3/4 can i go to 3 inch with no problems thanks

Default Driveshaft

Look on EBay or a salvage yard for an aluminum driveshaft from a fullsize Ford. You can have a machine shop cut it to the correct length. It is a heavy duty shaft. You can get the u-joints at NAPA to adapt it to the Chevy driveline.
