Default Two Lane Blacktop


I've got this movie and have about worn it out watching it. The 'Driver' is as harcore a street racer as there ever was.

Yeah, James Taylor played the part well, BTW he's a pretty good singer/song writer and play's a mean guitar, maybe you've heard of him....

ive got the movie also.i have it on vhs and dvd. i cant count the times ive watched it.when i get to wanting the old days back i put the movie on and take a trip back to the 70s.james taylor didnt like acting so he said he never would make another movie and he didnt.dennis wilson, the mechanic,was pretty good to me also.the girl in the movie commited suicide not to long after the movie.two guys, both musicans, playing in a car movie. go fiqure.now i gotta go watch it. thanks alot lol

The thing that sets 2LB so far apart from movies like FF, is there are NO trick photography or 'physically impossible' wheelstands and the like. It is ALL about REAL LIFE and 'possible' action. I LOVE the scene where they're blowing out the carbon at WOT out across a long stretch of Two Lane Blacktop, makin' 'er SING !!

Yea I got that too thats the same 55 thats in American Graffiti . I also got a couple other old ones HotRod with the 41 willys with a hemi and 4 speed and The California kid
