Here is the reply I received after I sent him a link to this post...

Who gives a damn what went into the car???? It is a 71/72 Chevelle that is worth 15K. He could have the best of the best, "A" list show car & it is not worth 100+K????? The guy is missing the point. Muscle car market 101: it is worth what the market will bring.
Funny thing is- in the best market conditions, he is at least 4 to 5 TIMES what the car is worth. I hope he does read all the posts here...
Joe Dirt- if you are reading this, just a few pointers.
1. don't take a picture in a dirt drive way with Amour-all & dirt on the tires. It's not the General Lee.
2. DUST the thing... you got layers of dust all over the console/inside... you might get an extra 50K if you do that. Remove the surface rust under the dash... or don't take a picture of it????
3. Don't ask 5 TIMES the cars value & then threaten to turn in people if they make FUN OF YOU... after all, IT IS "Funny" that you are asking 85K-125K for a 72 Chevelle. Dummy... wake up.

He would have a hard time getting $15K in this market for that car..Dont matter how much you spent on it...Someone could have ripped him off on the labor. Its really not a collectible car in my opinion, its not a rare model, not a rare code or package..Dime a dozen if you ask me.

Ahhh yes... the Blue Demon!!! I think he did come down to about 85K. I bet we could do some serious doughnuts with that car in a gravel pit. I wonder if he would take payments... maybe like 84 months or something??
Where is Jason??? Must be laying low again... too "hot" around here for him to create another name & play a POSER.
Jillian, where you been? Good to see ya. You ever get the you car fixed from that fender-bender?
