Wabbit-

Your truck is awesome. I love that pic on your post profile of brute-torque to the rear wheels... I think mud-racing is awesome... i just don't know anything about it.

Beast: Killer Nova!!! Love the paint too... wicked car. I have never rode in anything under 10/& some change. It must be fun!!

Thanks Scooter. If I can keep the front end on the ground I'm gonna get my 60' in the low 1.3's maybe high 1.2's this weekend!! Not bad for 3,450lbs (no driver no Nos.) in the mud. If I can't keep it down I'm working on a wheelie bar that'll keep it down! I let my engine builder SVRE, drive it last weekend and he got out of it at 175'!! Wasn't use the G's he said!

This is one of the bad boys! It's called the Boogie Man. It has a 706 Steve Schmitt motor. His brother owns a truck called Dirty Sanchez. They are 1st and 2nd in the points so far this year in both NMRO and MRA. I'm one of 8 reps for the MRA ( Mud Racers Association) and I tech every race vehicle.

Wabbit-

What can I say... that is just badass!! 706 in that platform has to be AWESOME!!! Something tells me you should get the wheelie-bar... you are close to needing it now (based on the pic) & I know you will graduate to that need down the road anyways... the quest for more ponies. That suspension on your truck looks like full compression @ holeshot!!! Could it squat any further????

Scooter, Yes, it can squat a little more about 2 1/2 more inches, but I do need a little longer shock on the back.

706's are becoming the norm for Pro Stock trucks ( 3,000lbs) in Mud racing. CI's are unlimited, but we only allow 1 carb to keep some kind of limit on it.

You probably want find 100lbs of steel ( body parts) in all these trucks combined! Cabs, front clips and doors are fiberglass or carbon fiber. The rear fenders are about all that's steel and their just at the most 22ga. sheetmetal . These trucks are min 3000lbs with dots and 2800lbs with cuts. Most weight 2,500lbs to 2,800lbs and have to add weight to run.

Video from last nights bracket race. I red lighted in the final pair :x :x , but not in this one. However, I did get my 60' times down to 1.345.

Thanks Rabbit and Scooter for the compliments. Sorry for taking up most of page 37. I'll try to behave myself better.
