Default picking the right blower size

I have read alot of different info on blowers and know that the bigger the blower the more boost and power it will make, but haven't seen any side by side comparisons on the 6-71, the 4-71, and the Weiand 144, 177 and comparable sizes from other manufacturers. I am planning on having a motor built for the street using the Dart 400 bore SHP block with a forged stroker kit. It is going in a '55 chevy with a 4-speed trans. and I want it to have good power if I tromp on it, but don't plan on being a regular at the strip. What do you guys recommend? Would a 4-71 be big enough to run maybe 8-10 pounds of boost? :?:

Default ?

Put a 6/71 on it and Call it a DAY!
There much easier to come up with, and the Boost level your after will NOT be a Problem!Probaly end up with 6 to8 O/D depending on your Engine components?
