I am an owner of a first gen Camaro... it is hard to get used to that 2010. When I see a new Challenger or new Mustang FB w/ nice wheels & resembles a Shelby.... I think that car looks cool (for a new car w/ emissions & computer crap) but when I see the new Camaro, I find it hard to see the retro/1st gen/muscle-car that I love and own. It has gills like a 69. tail lights are??? the grill is basic-plastic & modern like many others.... they really should have capitalized on the front of the true 1st generation Camaro better. I don't see the old Camaro in the new one much.
Now if I were to drive a 2010 SS w/a 6spd... I am sure I would like it better... who knows.

all I know is thanks Gawd GM killed off Pontiac before they could do that to a Formula or Trans Am, I could never face my car again. Still it's a shame someone did that to a Camaro muchless any American Muscle car. There should be special licensing and classes on do's and dont's for buyers of these vehicles.... But on a lighter side these are the guys that drive up the resale values of these classics.

O'K i'm going to weigh in on this conversation, my daughter got a Chrysler Hemi, like Todd bought for her birthday in 2007, being a speed freek, she took it to LV motor speedway ( she lives in Henderson NV) She kicked a$$ until she came up against a Camero LS4 and it put a hurtin on her, she wished she would have gotten a Camero. It's not the Camero, it's the owner who screwed up the car. I personally don't want either one and i certainly wouldn't put 20" wheels on either one.
