In that video what I thought was the water pump is the balance shaft. The 'unknown' is the WATER PUMP.

So what the heck is what I thought is the balance shaft ? :?: :?: :?:

Found another vid with the proper engine, it IS the water pump....an EZ do.
Still want to find out what that other shaft is. Now that I think about it, that shaft on the left in my pic turns with some soft resistance as in cold oil,...oil pump maybe....

Mark, you sent me in a good direction off of that first vid.

FastV, Thanks for YOUR effort as well !

Got the new pump installed, timing and drive belts on, spun it over to test fire it and :x :x :x :x Had a DUMBA SCHITT moment. I had reinstalled the crank position sensor but APPARENTLY did not get it seated properly cus when I cranked it over that sensor got all balled up into the drive belt. Anywhere from $75 to $234 for a new unit. ops: ops: ops:
DAMN RICERS...................................
