no there good.that wouldn't make it do this,plus it would knock.any more ideas?

was your lifter bores trued before engine was assembled ?

man the limited amount of turn on adjusting almost sounds like the
wrong lifters or bores checked for ware, yea, would like to know
the findings, valve train, interesting

i pulled out cam and lifters and 9 of the new lifters were froze like the old ones.all the new lifters worked good at first.it was in time the cam lobes were all good but about five were alittle bigger or smaller.i'm talking like a couple sheets of paper may supposed to be??i don't know!!

Is it oiling good? Seems like the lifters getting stuck and wearing out real quick could be caused by lack of oil then Heat. Just an idea..

the first set didn't oil the second set did at first and started quitting 2

Not to sound like a a-hole by no means..
but my suggestion it take the bulltet out and have someone look at it that knows what they are doing..

not to sound like a a-hole either but i run a garage and build race cars and it a distributer.but it's not bad all the time i checked it yesterday and it was firing good now its not.and the cam had a couple of lobes that were grond wrong.but still pops putting in new dist.will post results.thanks eveybody
