Default weight distribution on a solid altered

Anyone know what a good area to start when adding parts to a rigid altered? Do you want something around 60 front 40 rear weights ? 50/50? 40/60??

Making around 800-850 hp with a 540 bbc

To avoid wheelstands, the front end percentage should be about 350 times the center of gravity height divided by the wheelbase.

Unfortunately, the short torsionally rigid chassis (compared to a dragster) will still cause some problems with the rear tire loading. If you run a sprung front end, using adjustable coilovers, you can work with different spring rates across the front and thereby equalize (or, at least come close to equalizing) the rear tire loading throughout the run. Use a traction dyno to check out the results.
