Well I re-read what I wrote and forgot a little bit of details. ops:

We are kinda confused due to the fact that she still cant really keep anything down and she is on a liquid diet there in the hospital. She is also puking up a little bit of blood from teh irritation of puking too. So we shall see what happens.

Sorry about forgetting that little bit of info. I was talking to her when I wrote that and she must have told me this part after I wrote the other update.

I think I would try to keep her in the hospital at least until she can keep some food down. If she keeps puking she'll end up dehydrated too.

Yeah thats what I am hoping for atleast. She has been on an IV drip the whole time she has been in there. I hope her Dr will see that and say that she is staying.

Well here is another update on the wifey...........

She is going to be getting out of the hospital either today or tommorrow. The doctors told her that they want her to see an agastroenterologist. They say that whatever is wrong with her they dont think that they can handle where she is at now.

Another update on the wife....................

I am still talking to her and they are discharging her form the hospital. The doctor prescribed her ALOT of pain meds and anti-nausea pills. So hopefully she can get to the specialist soon.

I don't mean to be rude, but tell the doctor to make her an appointment with a specialist today or tomorrow!! if you don't she'll get the run around and may takes weeks to get in. A doctor can get her an appointment right away!!! Tell the Dr. you don't want an app. soon you want it NOW!! Went through something like this with my Mom a few years ago. She still has a hard time eating and gets sick a lot.

The sad thing is that they wont do that. We have tried in the past and they wouldnt. I live in a small town and it is hard to find good people in it. She told me that going to the specialist is gonna have to wait till she moves back east to TN/KY when she can go to Vanderbilt University Medical Center again. Hopefully it wont be too long before she does that. She has already been looking for a place east to move into. I am ok with her doing this just as long as if it gets worse again that she will go right in. Vanderbilt is the ONLY hospital that she trust. We have had bad experiences with other hospitals and Vanderbilt is the only one that actually found what was wrong with her at the time.

she needs to go to a bigger hospital , ,I also live in a small town and got the run a round for 2 years with the same symptoms..got so bad that I had to retire from the fire dept..finally got in Osners Clinic in new orleans and was diagnosed immediately with crohns disease.. the local doctors around here would have let me die..they never even checked...this is nothing to play with , even if she gets to feeling better , does not mean it went away...please tell her to seek another doctor , NOW,,,Paul
