Default Cam Bearing Preference

I'm putting together a 383 SBC with a solid roller and will be looking to turn it in the 7-7500 range, are the "High Performance" or "Racing" cam bearings worth the extra money or is it just marketing?

I would not use a stock replacement bearing in a performance application as the babbit is to soft and will flatten out.

My first choice on cam bearings is ACL 3349 second choice is Durabond CHP-8
