I was only joking about the "fake blower". I traded a 72 pro-streeted Buick with a 355 ci Chevy with a 671 blower for this street rod. It's a street rod, not a hot rod that I will be doing some cruising with. Something I couldn't do with the Buick. I just thought a Thumper cam would give it a good sound and worry the kids who pull up next to me at the stop light. I appreciate all the feed back and I am now thinking I'll leave things alone and "cruise and profile" with style. Thanks guys.

We sure can appreciate the desire to have 'that sound' that gives ya a permanent smile, but it's even MORE fun to be able to back it up with PERFORMANCE to match it.

You want something intimidating and run great look into the Lunati Bracket master II series. That series was made to Lope and still perform great. :wink:
