Default Batteries ...Any info on Walmart batteries

Has any one used Walmart Batteries, I was just in there and they are very reasonable, and a buddy of mine just put two of them in his diesel truck and all is well. He says the batteries are made by Interstate.
Let me know, if any one has info on Wal mart batteries. thanks jeff

I have mainly used Wal MArt batteeries and have nothing but good luck with them. They are the same batteries that you can buy in an auto parts store cheaper also.

I used to work for an equipment manufacturer, we made equipment for automotive battery plants. I traveled throughout the US installing this equipment and doing service work as well. Walmart, Kmart, Autozone, O'reilly's, etc. all went through the same process, Only difference was the color of the cases and/or tops. Interstate was made in a lot of the same plants, (never saw a plant owned by Interstate) only difference was the interstates had a better quality control plan, and they were charged in the water bath tables for a longer period of time...

There used to be a battery manufacturer in south Atlanta. When you walked in the lobby, there were 12 or 15 battery shells on the wall. Every color and every brand you can think of. There is probably not over 5 or 6 manufacturers in the whole USA (not including specialty ones).
