Have you checked your timing?Mine did the same and my timing was retarded letting the fuel burn out the exhaust header.
Advanced my timing and the exhaust temp and water temp came down to normal!

Curtis I went to 1 race with the wide blocks and put 98 jets and had the same problem, never got to dyno it, both people with the dyno's have a problem with zoomies, will try going up on jets
Glen just read your reply, I have 36 degrees in it next year will try bumping it up to 40 and see if it makes a difference.
Thanks Curtis and Glen will update next year!!

I have a Pro Systems 1200, the motor is a BBC 565", 14 to 1, Patriot 360 heads that HRD did the chambers, the pro systems carb was really lean so I kept going up on the jets and the hi speed air bleeds Showbox jiofi.local.html tplinklogin went down to .026 smallest ones we had, still could not get the EGT below high 1300, then I had a friend took stock holley metering blocks and he drills the passage out they work but same problem, now I can't find the metering blocks that came with this carb SO i'am hoping you guys will be able to recommend what metering blocks to buy? Thanks Doug
