If you haven't been able, to tell this is a pretty bucks-down car. The fan is a Summit brand 1100cfm with aluminum blades. It's mounted as a pusher because I mounted the trans cooler behind the radiator.
Haven't put a trans temp gauge in yet but so far then engine hasn't heated past 180 with the water pump on and the fan off. Kind of suprising since we're on gas and not alky.
Gears are 4:11 street gears, plexi side windows are Home Depot, cage is Art Morrison (only a couple of miles from me, convenient) that was actually for a '83 T-Bird I started with my son, but he lost interest in.
When he lost interest I scrapped the 'Bird, after back halfing and building a narrowed 9" for it. We moved everything over to this '39 Studebaker Coupe body I had laying around, built the rest of the frame. but that was just taking way too long so last year we scrapped the coupe, sold off what I could't use and moved everything we could use to the Falcon. Straight axle went to a guy in CA., 4 link and narrowed 9 went to a local guy. Still have front half of the frame upstairs in the garage.
So it only took me 3 cars to finally get one down the track.

Avery; u can make these mustangs run with very little money..its one of the few stock (factory) cars that can be put in the mid 5's (1/8 mile) with very minimal cost compared to other cars..i know you probably will not go that extreme but you can still have you something fun to play with.
a-lot of local guys that just like running fast ( for cheap) take these mustangs (coupe's) and drop chevy motors in them and run mid 5's with less than 3k worth of mods..they run the true street class 29x10's...what makes them work so well is the factory ford suspension works much lika an after market 4 link car.....plus most of the mods in these cars go back to factory bolt in location...tons of stuff you can do yourself..
have fun...Brian
