needle and seat is usually the cause unless the power valve is blown out?

If the float is a little too high, expansion from heat conduction from the intake through the carb can cause it to drip also.

When I have a dripping or overflowing issue on one end of a Holley carb, I remove both needle and seats and switch positions. If the problem switches ends I replace the needle and seat. If it stays at same end, I replace the float. (That is assuming you have the fuel level already at the bottom of the site plug or just below to see it is not a level issue.)
