Default King of the Cage-E-Mod-Street Stock-B-Mod-Mains-Video

The first "King of the Cage" is in the history books, what a great event at Atchison County Raceway at the end of the season. A really great way to bring the racing to a close here in the Kansas City area. ACR is really on the map for the racing fans and some big racing series are looking at ACR as a future site for a race.

E-Mods kicked off the action Sunday night with John Brown leading green to checkered to become the first King of the Cage for the evening. John had control of the race from start to finish just staying smooth and being really fast.

Street Stocks saw Adam Armstrong a regular IMCA driver in hobby stocks start on the second row and wait for the oppurtunity to take the lead which he did about 3/4's of the way in the race. Restarts bothered Adam but once he got going he was fast running the top of the track. This may have been the best the race of the event as their were 3 different leaders in the race.

Going into the B-Mod race I think everyone knew they were going to be chasing Jenae Gustin as she won her heat race and qualifing a-main Saturday night with romm to spare. She started outside front row for the championship race and took the lead early and opened up a nice lead.

Second place finisher Doug Keller worked his way up to second pretty quickly and bagan an all race chase behind Gustin, he would get to within three car lenths late in the race in lap traffic but Gustin worked lap traffic perfectly and never bobbled.

This driver did all the things right to be the "Queen of the Cage", congradulation to all the winners and all the staff at ACR, great event everybody.

Big thanks to John Lowrey and Grant Franklin for the call on all the races, they made so much more interesting, thanks guy's. Enjoy.
