Default I know I havent been around here.......

for awhile. Im trying to get back into my friends and family on here and the other forums I am on. Ever since I had to sell the Mustang I have been down and out just living each day like normal when they havent been.

An update about me is Im still in Clarksville TN and still got a job a great girlfriend and a Chevy that wants to break me lol.

My truck is down due to the transfer case taking a dump on me Friday. I tore it apart and found the two shifting forks trashed and the oil pump for the transfer case cracked and trashed as well. So currently I am awaiting parts to show up to the house to put it back together. Here are some pics of the carnage lol..........

The magnet from the transfer case before cleaning....

The small shifting fork......

The big fork........

Also I am having to replace the drive chain due to it being stretched.

I've been there a few times, having to literally give away a favorite car in order to survive.....Glad you're back, Brother !

It might take me a little bit to get back into the swing of things but I will eventually get there.

It feels good to be back

Thanks Outlaw.

It seems really easy to redo this transfer case. Everything is clipped in so there are no micro measurements to make. Now I am just waiting for the parts to show up on Weds so I can get this bad boy back together

Well I got the parts for the transfer case and have already installe them along with the transfer case itself. My truck is finally up and running again.

Here is what I got.....

Here is the new drive chain for the transfer case.....

I had to get a new oil pump....

Here is an oil pump upgrade so that the oil pump wont rub any holes in the case itself again......

And here is all the parts. Two shifting forks ( one small one large) oil pump, Oil pump upgrade, Chain, Gasket......

YOU are FAST, DUDE ! It'd take me a solid 7 days to just put it all together, let alone in and running !

Well lets see here. I had the transfer case out and tore apart in around 4 hours and had it put back together and in the truck in around 3 hours with the help from a guy at work.

Thats my usual speed. Especially when I miss driving my truck and wanted it back together lol
