Default Eagle or Scat?

Just looking for some opinions on con rods for a mild .030 350. Running forged flat top,4valve relief pistons, pressed pins and a factory steel crank. This engine will not see any street use. Its in a mud racing truck. Thanks for any and all input.

Default eagle

Well, since no one else is getting this going, I will try.

Both brands you are considering are offshore, China, forgings.

I prefer Eagle myself of the 2, but both will work for you.

Eagle's are finish machined overseas too. I am not sure about Scat.

Check to see if they both have at least ARP 8740 rod bolts.

H beam are stucturally better design than I beam for those brands.

Check you bearing clearance carefully as they may not have correct clearance with standard rod bearings.

Thanks for the input. I think I'm just gonna use a set of GM "X" rods i had in another engine. Add some ARP rod bolts and resize them. I think they will be fine for this engine. Thanks for the reply.
