Hey brick, dat's funny, but looking at 74 in a few weeks i can tell you i hate to work on the floor with a creeper, i don't mind the top end, but i try to get someone else under the car. It's not hard to get down there but it's bitch to get up and down after a few times, the real bitch is changing out a pumpkin (9" Ford) now i almost have to use a jack to get it up there. I used to drop a B/BLK chevy head over the fender and put it on, but now it's tuff. I'm kinda like George Throughgood, i drink alone, and work alone. and a lot slower too.

Zip.

Zip, I'm with ya every step of the way. I DO have to use a jack(or my friend Jack) for punkins, I used to toss 4spds in up over my head into cars on a hoist, and now I'll be damned if I can barely get an iron head off the bench let alone over a fender !
Like you, I'm a Loner....but with good friends as well
Working mostly alone makes one work safer and smarter !
