Default If You Value Your Gun Rights?

Fast and Furious blew up in Obozo's face and stopped them from forging ahead with their gun ban agenda. This newest tragedy will just add fuel to their anti gun fire and they will try again to strip us of our rights. So there's some things you need to do NOW, not tomorrow or next week!

You better be joining a GOOD gun rights organization! And DO NOT expect the NRA to help prohibit another assault weapons or magazine ban because they DIDN'T THE LAST TIME! I just renewed my membership with Gun Owners of America, which is one of if not the best gun rights groups in the country today!

If the gun grabbers have their way, ALL SEMI-AUTOMATIC GUNS WILL BE BANNED, COLLECTED AND DESTROYED JUST LIKE WAS DONE IN AUSTRALIA A FEW YEARS BACK! George Soros funded that battle and won and he's been trying to do that here for a while now.

THEY NEVER LET A CRISIS GO TO WASTE and that idiot Bloomberg was already ranting before those poor children's bodies had cooled!

Next thing to do is find out who your elected representatives are in the US Congress and make sure you contact them either via Email from their website or by phone and remind them that your 2nd Amendment rights are NOT negotiable!

People, we cannot sit idly by and expect someone else to fight this for us!! We must be proactive and take the fight to them!!

Guns do NOT kill people!! People kill people with anything they can get their hands on!

I just faxed this to all 3 of my members of the US Congress! Feel free to copy and paste this one to send to yours if you like and if you don't know how to use a fax from a computer, then you can send them an Email from their website's contact list.

Dear Members of The US Congress;

While my thoughts and prayers go out to those who suffered a loss in the recent shootings in Newtown, Conn, those thoughts also turn to the young man who was obviously mentally ill and wonder why someone didn't see this and get him help. This is especially true in light of the fact that that his own BROTHER stated that he had a “personality disorder” and was autistic?? If he knew, then why didn't others see this and act accordingly!

My next point is that each year over 830,000 children die needlessly in automobile accidents world wide with approximately 8,000 of those being in the United States. So that begs the question of where is the outrage and the screams for CAR BANS! I'm sure by now you see where I'm going with this!

Next item, the worst slaughter of school children in the history of this country occurred in 1927 when another mad man planted explosives in a school in Michigan and proceeded to kill 38 children and 6 adults simply because he lost a public election??? Neighbors stated after that incident that this guy was acting strangely for a fair amount of time before he killed all those children?? And no one acted on this even though he was known to have some issues?

So in review, ALL these mass killings have been done by a person that was mentally ill and while some chose guns to do their dirty deeds, others did not, which also begs the question of why the knee jerk reaction and calls to ban guns when the gun is not the guilty party in ANY of these mass murders??

So I'm telling you that you need to back off, take a deep breath and understand that guns do NOT kill people and SPOONS did NOT make Rosie Odonnell FAT!

NO MORE GUN CONTROL AND GET RID OF GUN FREE ZONES SO THAT PEOPLE WILL AT LEAST HAVE THE OPTION OF DEFENDING THEMSELVES!!

Final note, what if teachers in that school would have been allowed to carry a firearm? How many lives would have been spared if they had!

And it's NOT a 'gun culture' problem, it's a culture of VIOLENCE and DISRESPECT for human LIFE, brought to you by our 'entertainment' industry.

Actually, it's a very complex problem.

It involves a Mental health system disabled by the ACLU and the cost of medical care, it involves the revolving doors we call a Correctional System and it's methods of handling the mentally ill or handicapped, it involves the teaching of children that games involving gory and detailed killing as entertainment from the time they're 6-7 years old that isn't any better than letting them watch pornography from the same age, and lastly, hell yes, it involves guns . .

But I grew up hunting and shooting, but have never had the slightest inclination to shoot up a theatre, a school or my work place, so I'm either "normal" or "not crazy enough" . . dunno which . .

As for owning an "Assault Rifle", I dunno why anyone needs one, until they get one . . Years ago, I built a house out on the high prairie, West of the city. There were coyotes and all the other wildlife you encounter when you live in the boondocks and while I had several guns that would do the job, I suppose, I decided I needed a "Ranch Rifle" to carry in my pickup . . I had a 94 Winchester but it was getting to be worth way too much to carry around in a truck and possibly get stolen. so, I visited a buddy who had a Gun Store . . He sold me the first Stainless Mini 14 I'd ever seen, for $169 . . and threw in four 20 round mags . . Voila! I owned an "Assault Rifle" . . wish I had it now. It's worth about $900 . .

The boss has an AR style in .308, mossy oak camo with a Lepould variable on it, shot 2 elk with it last November . . Sumbitch is deadly accurate at 300 yds . . Probably as good or better than any of the varmit guns I've had over the years . .

I have a shop full of 'assault tools',....I have a desk filled full of 'assault pens, pencils and paper',...I have a yard full of 'assault rocks and firewood',...I have a kitchen full of 'assault food' and 'assault cooking and food preparation utensils', I have a laundry room full of 'assault cleaning chemicals',.............The ONLY real 'assault weapon' is the human mind that THINKS 'ASSAULT'

I saw a great bumper sticker on sale today

"So making guns illegal will take them off the streets? We should make heroin and meth illegal too!"

We must all remember that the 2nd Amendment was put in place to allow "We The People" to be able to control Government, by force if necessary, should the need arise. Personal protection is right up there with that one but the primary one is for us to be able to control Government.

And as for the who needs one statement? Who needs a Corvette or Ferrari? Or a race car for that matter??

And my thought is, if the Military has one, then I believe I should be able to have one too. The Swiss are issued a fully automatic weapon and are required by Swiss law to keep it in their houses. They have one of the lowest gun crime rates in the world today.

People are pretty naive in the face of such tragedies. It is too easy to blame Black guns (which are not the problem) as many have stated. In America, a gun hobbyist should have the right to purchase these guns if they follow the legal ways. In the same way, I can drive a pro-street car on the streets if I desire by respecting various laws & if I get a ticket for slicks- then I knew the risk & consequences. The risks of a crazy kid who has access to an AK47 has such unmeasurable consequences these days... babies die now. WHY???? We need to look at ourselves, our schools, parenting, lack of GOD. Chances are, that kid just needed discipline, leadership, mentors, counseling, etc... but folks stood idly by in a helpless system & he fell through the cracks... like so many other kids who are numb & desensitized today... they play video games that help them escape to fantasy-lands & never consider what happens to them when THE REAL eternity begins. God is very clear about a special place in hell for those who hurt children. These shooters have no foresight of the MISERY they earned when the carnage is over. That is when the true misery STARTS... forever. Amen.
