Default 850 HP starting point

Car is SG style, small block 358 Cubes (18*,3.25 X 4.155 9 to 1) weight at 2450 w driver, 5.38 gears, 14 x 32 tires, 1.76 glide. Has run a best of 6.18 with a 8896 but that is way too much carb for this combo. Just got a used 850 HP,thinking of about 88 square with PV plugged. I have no idea what the carb was on prior.

The 850 with 88's is fine to start with, jet it for best MPH. As long as the converter stall is sufficient I'd work on the 8896, the stock calibration isn't great but it can be made better with a little tuning.
