how do they tune for pikes peak..... fat at the bottom and it leans out going up to the top or do they use comp/sensors to read and auto adjust?

Most are EFI anymore and adjust as they gain altitude. The carb guys, like me, would set up the tune for mid to high mid track.

why couldnt you go 3/4 up and tune your ride for the most performance and power ..... then just run a vent line from the intake riser for the carb to the inside of the car with a ball valve ..... then you can crack it open and lean it out for the lower sections and gradually close it off as you go up?

we use it already in our drag car... it helps get the heat up in the engine... each pass... he closes it a little farther.... that alky takes awhile to warm up....lol
