Very sad... being they used to DOMINATE back in the day w/ Hemi cars. That is a huge piece of history in Nascar gone!!!! SUX!!

That's not the only bad news on the happenings. Congress just voted to not sponser any sporting events, IE NASCAR racing/ ARMY car and probably Shoemaker TF car, it hasn't been said in the racing circles, but it did pass Congress.

It's not from pressure from the government as far as I can find. Chrysler Group LLC paid every dime back plus interest. $7.6 BILLION to the US government and Canadian government.
Current owners are Fiat 61.8 % and the UAW 38.2 %
Note; the UAW is HEAVILY funding Obama's activities for reelection

uaw is one of the reasons im slowly turnin against big unions.at one time i was pro union, big time. but as i watched what they turned into i backed away.

but remember guy in like 71 they quit and came back report i read said at present SRT (mopar) didn't find it feasible (A.K.A not a big enough profit)

The Union came to our factory about 2 years ago & tried to "convert" our employees here... the union got "13%" of the vote... WE SENT THEM BACK HOME... told them to pack up & don't let the door hit them on the way out!!!
