OK after lots of scrambling and what not I am taking a greyhound to chicago to pick up a car but my delema is getting from chicago to Elgin any be able to help?

to ways there buddy. lake st. which is i believe hy way 20 and irving park road which is highway 19. they go to both sides of elgin.elgin sits in the middle of the 2. now thats how it was in the 80s when i moved back for a yr. i went to elgin high in the early 70s .

There's probably a graydog that goes to Elgin, but also the L train runs from downtown right north of Elgin. I lived around Elgin fron 1961 to 1975 before i moved to Phx. Also like Outlaw says, Irvin park road straight shot from Chgo to Elgin.
